How it works

Is where you can explore and discover all the artistic and cultural events that will be live streamed. The events are listed individually in chronological date and time. If an event belongs to a festival or a specific program then it will be tagged with the name of the program/festival. You can search for events with specific categories, organizers, artists, or cities.

The listing in this page highlights the full program of different cultural institutions and/or festivals. Moreover, it highlights the cities where different events are taking place. From this page you can also access the individual city pages to discover other previous and future events that are, or were, programmed in the city. This pages highlights the full program of a festival or program and maintain its artistic vision and focus. Users will be able to access the festivals or specific programs and discover the performances, workshops, talks, and other activities of a festival or a cultural institution.

Each person mentioned on the Platform will have an individual page with a short biography and links to the artistic events, workshops, talks that s/he participated in. Not only artists are highlighted but also the wider community of people working around a performance, event or festival.

Citerne.live is a new cultural project that aspires a new approach to the digital as an artistic medium. It aims, at the same time, to provide transformative experiences through dance, and to expand the public's enjoyment, appreciation and understanding of dance. We aim to present new and original works, and to promote the access of culture in a global perspective. Our mission is to imagine an engaged role for culture that empowers, and inspires our human values. We rely on the support of individuals, trusts and foundations and businesses to carry out our artistic mission and to support our projects and their progress.

The digital era is shaking up our habits and our fields of perception. But the digital world is also an opportunity to rethink our artistic practices. It offers and puts forward new modes of representation but also of presence in the world. It represents a powerful tool which can, if it is mastered, encourage artistic proliferation, access to culture but also allow a greater richness and openness to the world and reach new audiences.

With guests Omar Rajeh et Mia Habis, founders of Citerne.live, Fu Le from Cie Tétrapode and Éloïse Lefévbre – visual and video artist and Olivier Chervin, responsible for pedagogy, conferences and training at la Maison de la Danse.

L’ère du digital bouscule nos habitudes et nos champs de perception. Mais l’univers du numérique est également l’occasion de repenser nos pratiques artistiques. Il offre et met en avant de nouveaux modes de représentation mais aussi de présence au monde. Il représente un outil puissant qui peut, s’il est maîtrisé, favoriser le foisonnement artistique, l’accès à la culture mais aussi permettre une plus grande richesse et ouverture sur le monde et l’atteinte de nouveaux publics.

Relations et enjeux entre la danse et la video

The school merging consists in concentrating isolated primary schools in centralized educational institutes. In 2019, 400 French schools are concerned by this reform.
The Last Children is a choreographic film made in single-shot with the children of a school on the eve of its closure. Through a metaphorical fable, it bears witness to the achievement of the desertification in the rural world and the death of its villages.


Le regroupement pédagogique consiste à concentrer les écoles primaires isolées en établissements scolaires centralisés. En 2019, 400 écoles françaises sont concernées par cette réforme. Les derniers Enfants du Causse est un film chorégraphique réalisé en plan-séquence avec les enfants d'une école à la veille de sa fermeture. A travers une fable métaphorique, il témoigne de l'achèvement de la désertification du monde rural et de la mort de ses villages.
