An Egyptian man and woman stand on a rooftop in Down Town Cairo. Teargas from riots in the streets below rise up to the roof and gives an extreme physical memory of Cairo. One physical movement is repeated from beginning to end. Repeatedly. The two characters are seen distinctively. Their reactions and processes become magnified. CHEST was created for an Egyptian man and woman during the riots and demonstrations in Cairo, Egypt 2013, and was shoot on a rooftop in Down Town Cairo. Teargas from riots in the streets below drew up to the roof and gave the shooting an extreme physical memory of Cairo.
