Narae Chung

Narae Chung was born in Seoul, she is daughter of a composer and a painter. Narae starts her musical education at six years old learning piano, flute, traditional korean flute dae-gum and Janggu drums. In 2009, she enters CNSMDP where she earns prizes in harmonies, counterpoint, Renaissance music and writing for 20-21st century music. She composes for different artistic projects, for dance, exhibitions and film. Her pieces are played in many festivals including La Rochelle International Film Festival ,Busan International film festival, Jeonju international film festival,« ballet festival Korea», etc. Currently, she is teaching musical composition at Chung-Ang university in South Korea.
