Gilberto Barraza

Gilberto Barraza is a Mexican actor, originally from Ciudad Juárez, where he had his first professional steps in the theater, forming part of the Octavio Trías theater company, alongside actors such as Joaquín Cosío, Perla de la Rosa, Yolanda Abudd and Marco Antonio García. With them and another acting group, he began with AlBorde Teatro, where they were part of several works in the city, until he decided to move to Mexico City, at the end of the 90s, to be part of the National Theater Company. Under the direction of Luis de Tavira. Among his credits, Gilberto has been part of series such as Club de Cuervos (2015) and feature films such as The Golden Cage (2013), La Estancia (2014), The Chosen One (2016) and Selva Trágica (2020) in competition in Venice.
