Dagmar Dachauer is a freelance dancer, performer, choreographer and filmmaker. After graduating in music, she studied dance at the Amsterdam School of Arts and at P.A.R.T.S. In 2015, she founded the art association umfug, through which she produces stage work as well as film projects with collaborators coming from various backgrounds such as music, sound design, cinematography, visual arts and ecology. One of her ongoing projects is the dance film series Competing for Sunlight, in which she choreographs and directs dances with different tree species.
