How it works

Is where you can explore and discover all the artistic and cultural events that will be live streamed. The events are listed individually in chronological date and time. If an event belongs to a festival or a specific program then it will be tagged with the name of the program/festival. You can search for events with specific categories, organizers, artists, or cities.

The listing in this page highlights the full program of different cultural institutions and/or festivals. Moreover, it highlights the cities where different events are taking place. From this page you can also access the individual city pages to discover other previous and future events that are, or were, programmed in the city. This pages highlights the full program of a festival or program and maintain its artistic vision and focus. Users will be able to access the festivals or specific programs and discover the performances, workshops, talks, and other activities of a festival or a cultural institution.

Each person mentioned on the Platform will have an individual page with a short biography and links to the artistic events, workshops, talks that s/he participated in. Not only artists are highlighted but also the wider community of people working around a performance, event or festival.

Citerne.live is a new cultural project that aspires a new approach to the digital as an artistic medium. It aims, at the same time, to provide transformative experiences through dance, and to expand the public's enjoyment, appreciation and understanding of dance. We aim to present new and original works, and to promote the access of culture in a global perspective. Our mission is to imagine an engaged role for culture that empowers, and inspires our human values. Enter the magical world of the latest creation of Jean-Luc Courcoult / Royal de Luxe: "The Bull Machin of Villeurbanne, grand prix of dog races* which takes place today in Villeurbanne in partnership with Pôle PIXEL and simultaneously on Citerne.live.

For three days, and within Villeurbanne, French capital of culture 2022, two giant dogs will evolve in the center of the city, and will compete on the day of the grand prix. *The Bull Machin de Villeurbanne, grand prix de course de chiens* is manipulated by a dozen people. Inspired by Gulliver's adventures, the characters who accompany these dogs manipulate the machines, offer us a unique show and seem to really give life to these dogs.

For the occasion, Pôle PIXEL also organizes workshops for students of the ARFIS school and Pôle Emploi Scène et Images, from September 19 to 25, supervised by Dr. Laurent Antonczak and Antoine De Bièvre, professionals of audiovisual shooting by cell phone and drone. Pendant trois jours, et au sein de Villeurbanne, capitale française de la culture 2022, deux chiens géants évolueront dans le centre de la ville, et s'affronteront le jour du grand prix . *Le Bull Machin de Villeurbanne, grand prix de course de chiens* est manipulé par une dizaine de personnes. Inspirés des aventures de Gulliver, les personnages qui accompagnent ces chiens manipulent les machines, nous offrent un spectacle unique et semblent véritablement donner vie à ces chiens.

Pour l'occasion, Pôle PIXEL organise également des ateliers pour les élèves de l'école ARFIS et Pôle Emploi Scène et Images, du 19 au 25 septembre, encadrés par le Dr Laurent Antonczak et Antoine De Bièvre, professionnels de la prise de vue audiovisuelle par téléphone portable et par drone.
